Known as the “Chinatown” of Las Vegas because of its Asian influences, Spring Valley has become a “must live” community for those who crave the excitement of the “Strip,” without the hassle of big crowds and tourist.

GETTING AROUND SPRING VALLEY
Located in the “unincorporated” Southwest region of Las Vegas, Spring Valley runs through Spring Mountain Road. Though most of the area is comprised of gated communities and beautiful parks, it also provides an amazing view of the gorgeous city lights located to the east of it. For those looking to be more eco-friendly, there are many green options to getting around including a great public transportation line that runs every 10 to 20 minutes.
PLACES TO GET GOOD FOOD AND DRINKS
For a place rich in Asian culture, you better believe that Spring Valley has some great places to wine and dine! For year’s now, Spring Valley has been home to more several local culinary hotspots!
For those who love a good “Poke Bowl,” To See Roll is must! They use nothing but the freshest seafood and ingredients, and their service is just as good. Another amazing eatery that you’ll be tempted to Instagram about is, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina! Juan’s is one of the best Mexican restaurants around town and they not only have some of the best fajitas in Las Vegas, but their churro dessert is to die for! And of course with it being a cantina, they have some of the best margaritas you’ll experience this side of town!
PET FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES
We love our dogs out in Las Vegas, which means that there are plenty of pet friendly activities you and your pup can take part in. One of best dog parks in the Spring Valley area is the Desert Breeze Dog Park on W. Spring Mountain Road. It’s not only the biggest space for your pooch to run around in, but the other pet owners are also very friendly and social. Spring Valley is also home to many pet friendly restaurants and hotels.
EVENTS IN SPRING VALLEY
Being near the Las Vegas strip, there are ton of fun happenings going on this summer! But should you chose to stay close to home, there a few events to advantage of. For those of you with children, the Harry Potter Art Show is an absolute must. Or if you have teens, there is the ESports Gaming Arena to keep them occupied for hours. If you are looking for some more “grown up” entertainment, you can also visit the Japanese Culture Festival.
Staying in shape and being physical is a big deal for a lot of us. That being said, spring Valley has some of the best gyms in the area. If you are looking for a fantastic Crossfit studio, Crossfit Mountain’s Edge is hands down the best in the city. If you’re more cardio driven, is iLoveKickboxing.com on Grand Canyon has your name written all over it.
SHOPPING IN SPRING VALLEY
I think that we can all agree that Las Vegas is a shopaholics mecca known for having lots of hidden shopping gems. One of these gems is the Black Friday Coach Outlet on Fort Apache Rd. If you’re more into shopping for make-up and hair products than you have to make a stop at the GlamSquadShop , which has been a local favorite since it first opened its doors.
